Acrylic Roof Repair and Restoration Solutions
At Aldo Coatings we manufacture roof coatings that provide lasting repair and restoration solutions for leaking roofs. For more than 35 years we have assisted contractors and facility managers with the right solution for their commercial building roof.
The Aldo product line includes Silicone, Acrylic and Polyurethane coatings for repair and restoration of a variety of roof systems including metal, membrane, and modified bitumen roofs. Reflective cool roof coatings are a specialty of Aldo and allow building owners to realize energy cost savings through reducing the building’s roof surface temperatures during peak cooling seasons.
ALDOCOAT ACRYLIC ROOF COATING PRODUCTS
FOR USE: metal roofs, BUR and single ply restoration
One of the most attractive qualities of acrylic coating is its ability to apply smoothly on rough, textured surfaces. They are water-proof—though we suggest you avoid use on roofs that are prone to ponding water. Many of these products are also fire retardant! These coatings can also provide good resistance to mechanical damage and chemical attacks. We have three wonderful acrylic coating products below. We also carry silicone roof coatings, polyurethane roof coatings and themoplastic roof coatings.
What makes Acrylic Coatings great? If you’re considering an Acrylic Roof Coating for your building, you don’t want a mediocre product, you want the best. Our Acrylic line is time-tested across thousands of roofing systems and backed by a long list of satisfied customers. Here’s what makes Acrylic Roof Coatings unique:
Built to last. The longevity of Acrylic Coatings is one reason why they’re so popular. When the coating is applied properly, it can be just as effective as a new roofing system. What gives them the upper hand, is their much lower price.
Dirt-Repellent. Acrylic Coating products will not allow dirt to settle on the roof surface by creating a seamless membrane. The roof surface will stay clean and beautiful, which keeps their UV-reflecting properties in-tact.
Money-saving. Acrylic Coatings can help keep your building cooler by reflecting UV Rays. In turn, you save on energy costs. Reflecting UV light also minimizes the exterior damage and breakdown of your building, saving you costly repairs over time.
Waterproof. Each product in the Aldo Acrylic Roof Coating line is created to repel water and is waterproof. If your roof is prone to ponding water, though, this is not the product to use.
Durable. Aside from being waterproof and dirt-repellent, our Acrylic Coatings are fire retardant and help protect the roof from mechanical damage and chemical attacks.
Even if you don’t currently need to replace your roof, adding our Acrylic Roof Coating is a great, protective option. It looks like normal paint, but it goes on five-to-ten times thicker than house paint. It adheres to the surface on its own, without the help of hardware. As it dries, the Acrylic Coating will create a tough membrane that tolerates foot traffic, temperature fluctuations and extreme weather conditions. The combination of these properties will extend the life of your roof. Making a small investment in our Acrylic Roof Coatings now means you can save money in the future.
Right now, we have three different Acrylic Coating Products you can choose from: ALDOCOAT 374 is meant for contractor use. It works best with metal, BUR, and single ply roof restorations. On these surfaces, it produces a seamless, flexible, and durable membrane. ALDOCOAT 400 is a Premium Coating that acts as a breathing membrane, letting moisture vapor pass through from the inside-out, but remaining waterproof from the outside-in. ALDOCOAT 730 is largely different from the first two products since it is a Skylight Coating. It has the same waterproof qualities but cures clear instead of a color. You can also use it other places where you’d rather have a translucent coating.
